We’re looking for a full-time Social Media - Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a fully remote role ideal for someone who thrives in content creation, digital marketing, and community engagement. If you love crafting compelling online experiences, staying on top of trends, and bringing brands to life through storytelling, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As our Social Media - Marketing Assistant, you'll support CoCreate’s marketing partners and help grow our digital presence across multiple platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing social media strategies aligned with our brand voice and business goals

  • Creating and scheduling content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and more

  • Writing engaging copy for posts, reels, stories, and marketing campaigns

  • Designing simple visuals using Canva (or similar tools) in collaboration with the creative team

  • Engaging with our online community through comments, messages, and outreach

  • Tracking performance metrics and preparing monthly reports with key insights

  • Staying up to date on social media trends, tools, and best practices

  • Supporting marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional efforts as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 + years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and their best practices

  • Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Buffer, Later, or similar

  • Basic understanding of marketing funnels and digital brand building

  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

  • Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator is an asset.

Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer

  • Portfolio or sample work showcasing your content or campaigns

  • Ability to work full-time, in North American time zones (EST) preferred
